Sports Premium Spending
In 2013 the government introduced a PE and Sports Grant. The funding is jointly provided by the Department for Education, Health and Culture and Media and Sport and is paid annually to all primary schools. The grant is ring fenced and must be spent on improving the provision of PE and sport for the benefit of all primary aged pupils so that they develop healthy life styles.
The Conditions of Grant document is the information used by schools as statutory guidance. Schools are required to report on the spending of this fund as detailed below.
