Sports Premium Spending

In 2013 the government introduced a PE and Sports Grant. The funding is jointly provided by the Department for Education, Health and Culture and Media and Sport and was paid directly to primary schools during the academic years  2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017. The grant is ring fenced and must be spent on improving the provision of PE and sport for the benefit of all primary aged pupils so that they develop healthy life styles.

For details on how we have spent this money to support and develop sports activities at Huish Episcopi Primary School please see below. We are proud to have achieved the Silver Sportsmark for our PE provision in 2015, the Gold Sportsmark for our PE provision in 2016 and the Gold Sportsmark 2017 .

The school was awarded £8,620.00 during 2016-17.
