We have had cases of Head Lice reported yet again.
Please, please could you check regularly, and treat if necessary, your child’s hair. With correct treatment it should be possible to reduce the amount of cases. Thank you.
We have been keeping an eye on the weather forecasts, and feel that this is a good moment to remind you of our Bad Weather Procedures, should they be required. Many of you will remember that we were affected by the snow last year, and it is occasionally the case that we have to make a swift decision about whether to close the School. In doing so, we are always mindful of the inconvenience and disruption caused, but must prioritise everyone’s safety in travelling to and from school, as well as their safety around the school site.
Whilst we want children to attend school in uniform, sensible footwear should be worn.
Our standard procedures therefore are set out in the attached letter, but may be adjusted as the weather demands.
If bad weather comes in suddenly during the day and we have to send the children home early, we will immediately post a message on our website, feed the news through by Twitter and communicate by email. In inclement weather please check the website, Twitter and your email regularly.
