Parent & Family Association (PFA)
Are you a parent or carer of a child that attends Huish Episcopi Primary School or are you a volunteer who has links with the school?
If so why not join the PFA? The PFA is an organisation run solely by parents and volunteers to raise money for the school.
Money raised goes towards providing materials, resources and facilities which benefit every child that attends the school.
Events organised by the school enhance the school community but also provide much needed funds!
The activities help to bring together parents and children and promote good communication between staff and parents as we jointly work towards common goals.

Treasurer: Position vacant as at March 2018 (The PFA is looking for someone to take over the position of Treasurer. The person does not have to be a full time member of the PFA. THE PFA NEED YOUR SUPPORT
We Need You! In order for the PFA to continue their work organising events and help fundraise for the school, we need more parents to join the committee and/or help with and at events.
If we do not get more members, the PFA will have to be closed down at the end of this term (Summer Term 2018).

- Jumble sale
- Cake sales
- Christmas cards designed by the children
- SATs Treat (May) & Year 6 Camp Out (July)
During the last academic year we have so far raised over £1,000.00.
What do we do with the money raised?
All of the money raised enhances the education of the children that attend Huish Episcopi Primary School. In the last three years we have funded the following projects:
- Funded Forest School days for all classes at Wilder Woods
- Paid for Image Theatre to come into school
- Breakfast Club games
- Chess sets
- Hi Viz jackets
- Playground equipment
- School trip mobile phone
- Environmental area outside Parrett Class
- Puddle suits
- Donation for resources
- Christmas party presents
- Christmas tree
- Leavers dictionaries
